Bohemia Egypt was founded on a deep respect for European craftsmanship and a clear ambition to reinterpret it for a global and contemporary audience. Our journey began as the official agents of Bohemia Poděbrady in the Czech Republic, one of the historic pillars of Bohemian crystal, renowned for centuries of mastery in glassmaking and refinement.
Through this partnership, Bohemia Egypt introduced authentic European craftsmanship to Egypt and the region, building a trusted bridge between heritage techniques and some of the most distinguished interiors, hospitality projects and private collections.
Guided by the vision of its founder, Essam Elkahky, the brand evolved steadily beyond representation. After nearly forty years as agents and partners to leading European manufacturers, Bohemia Egypt took a decisive step forward in 2008 by establishing its own manufacturing capabilities.
The evolution began with the production of tableware and giftware, supported by European master craftsmen who trained and developed local teams — transferring generations of expertise and establishing in-house production aligned with international standards.
As capabilities expanded, so did the scope of work. Bohemia Egypt developed diverse design selections alongside fully custom creations, managing every stage in house from concept and design to engineering, manufacturing and finishing. This integrated approach enabled the realization of commercial, hospitality and residential projects worldwide, each tailored to the identity and function of its space.
Today, Bohemia Egypt operates as a manufacturer, designer and creative partner, delivering collections and projects across international markets.
